Moorhead woman arrested in connection to North Dakota bank robbery

North Dakota – A woman has been apprehended in Wyndmere, west of Wahpeton, for a bank robbery, according to authorities. Shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, the Lincoln State Bank was held up at gunpoint.

A 43-year-old Moorhead woman was apprehended after a tip from someone who recognized photos published to the media, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is being held in a Fargo jail. She is facing federal charges.

The money stolen in the robbery was found and returned.
