Moorhead Farmers Market to begin June 1st

Moorhead, North Dakota – The 8th Annual Moorhead Farmers Market will begin on June 1st, according to Moorhead Parks and Recreation. Throughout the summer, you may enjoy fresh, locally grown fruits, jams, salsa, meats, handcrafted products, plants, dog treats, and more.

The event will take place every Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. at the Moorhead Ace Hardware off 6th Street South until September 28th.

SNAP benefits are accepted by the Moorhead Farmers Market, which allows people to purchase locally using their SNAP/EBT Cards. Using these benefits at the Market also comes with the extra benefit of Double Bucks, which allows consumers to double their benefits up to $10 for SNAP-eligible foods.

The Power of Produce Club will also be returning this summer, but with a new twist! This year, children ages 4 to 12, as well as people 55 and over, are eligible to receive a $2 token to spend on produce items
