Minot, North Dakota – During this time of year, community gardens begin to turn green, which attracts wildlife.
The deer problem at the Rainbow Gardens Association in Minot has its ups and downs, according to Deb Sisco, the association’s treasurer. She claimed that the numerous barriers in the area are intended to keep people out.
“We have more does and fawns, so there’s lots of fawns running around playing, and they’re not afraid of you,” said Sisco.
She claimed that it’s still possible to start producing plants that can withstand a shorter season, despite the wildlife’s curiosity.
For the upcoming summer, Rainbow Gardens will begin taking rental applications in August.
