Members of North Dakota Air National Guard deployed to assist relocating Afghans

North Dakota – Fourteen men of the North Dakota Air National Guard were deployed to assist Operation Allies Refuge, a program designed to assist Afghans in relocating to the United States.

The airmen are stationed at Volk Field in Wisconsin and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, and are known as the Happy Hooligans.

Their deployment is scheduled to end on September 30.
