Fargo, North Dakota – All city employees are required to wear masks in the building.

The Fargo City Commission voted 3-2 on Monday regarding the mask mandate. City building visitors are strongly recommended to wear masks.

While some commissioners, such as Tony Gerhig, argue that the masks are a ruse, John Strand claims that the goal is to keep people safe as the Delta Variant of COVID-19 spreads.

Strand and Arlette Preston were the only two commissioners who wore masks to the City Commission meeting on Monday.
