Richmond, VA — Chesterfield County Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Thursday evening, Dec. 26, 2024, in South Chesterfield.
At approximately 7 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Woodpecker Road after receiving reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, authorities found the male rider had been ejected from the motorcycle and was unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, as police are working to notify his next of kin.
