Man arrested after joint effort of Fargo police and SWAT team

Fargo, North Dakota – At around 5 p.m. on Saturday, the Red River Valley SWAT Team helped the Fargo Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit with a high-risk, knock-and-announce search warrant at 2624 35th Avenue South in Fargo.

Dustin Troy Hagman was apprehended as a result of this joint operation for the following warrants, which were issued by different jurisdictions at the same time:

  • Domestic Violence Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief (Ramsey County, ND).
  • Unlawful Possession of Firearm by a Violent Felon, Reckless Endangerment – Extreme Indifference Domestic Violence, Domestic Violence Assault – Substantial Bodily Injury and Menacing – Domestic Violence (Burke County, ND).
  • Order of Revocation of Bail (Burke County, ND).

In order to divert the attention of the suspects and enable officers to perform dangerous duties, the SWAT team used a Flash Sound Diversionary Device (FSDD) to make a loud noise and a blinding flash of light during the entrance.

No injuries were reported.
