West Fargo, North Dakota – Ahead of Memorial Day, Bonanzaville is honoring veterans in our city.
On Thursday evening at the annual Veterans Memorial Celebration, people were entertained by the West Fargo High School band while enjoying the food prepared by the veterans.
“We appreciate their service and we memorialize those that have gone before us to keep this country with its privileges and freedom,” Bonanzaville executive director Beth Jansen said.
A UH-72A Lakota helicopter was placed outside the museum for the event.
Military-themed exhibitions honoring the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, as well as items from D-Day, were on display.
Last year the event was cancelled due to Covid-19.
