Judgements Terminate all robocall operations

Bismarck, North Dakota – Rising Eagle Capital Group from Texas, JSquared Telecom, and Rising Eagle Capital Group – Cayman were all involved in judgments that shut down a sizable robocall enterprise.

Attorney General of North Dakota Drew Wrigley claims that during 2019 and 2020, millions of calls to residents of North Dakota were among the billions of illegal robocalls that were made to people nationwide.

There were a lot of people on the Do Not Call Register.

In September 2020, his office filed a lawsuit against them, stating that they had utilized their businesses to bombard individuals with robocalls touting a range of health care and extended auto warranty scams.

John Caldwell Spiller II and Jakob Mears, the two persons in charge of the scheme, were fined more than $244 million.

Due to their inability to pay and in support of operational bans, the payments were suspended.

Attorneys General from Arkansas, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas have joined Wrigley in the settlements.
