IT officials in North Dakota emphasizing safety in the face of rising numbers of cyberattacks

Bismarck, North Dakota – Legislators in North Dakota are making strengthening the state’s cybersecurity a top priority across the whole government.

On Wednesday, the officials in charge of North Dakota Information Technology delivered an update on the efforts they are doing to assure a higher level of security.

The most common themes that emerged were the importance of having robust passwords and the perils of phishing.

According to information provided by IT, the state suffers up to one hundred million cyberattacks from locations all over the world every single month.
