In September, North Dakota’s unemployment rate slightly declines

Bismarck, North Dakota – The unemployment rate in the state, according to Job Service North Dakota, has somewhat decreased.

According to the report, September’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 1.3%, down from 1.5% in August. The non-adjusted unemployment rate in the United States is 3.6%, for instance.

Employment Services ND also revealed that Fargo and Grand Forks saw respectable increases in employment (400 and 1000), whereas Bismarck was the only Metro city to have a loss of workers in September (about 100). Employment increases were reported by the government (+300), private education and health services (+200), manufacturing (+100), and wholesale trade (+100).

With seasonally adjusted unemployment rates of 1.9%, North Dakota came in second place out of all the states. Maryland leads with 1.6%.
