Henrico Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect in Attempted Robbery

Henrico County, Va. — Henrico Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest connected to an attempted robbery that occurred last month.

According to authorities, the incident took place on December 26, 2024, at approximately 11:22 p.m. Officers responded to a call reporting the attempted robbery in the 5400 block of W. Broad Street. Upon arriving at the scene, police spoke with the caller, who informed them that an unknown individual entered the business and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect then fled the store on foot before officers could arrive.

The person of interest is described as a white male, wearing a red sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. Police have released a photograph of the individual in hopes of generating leads from the public.
