North Dakota – Now that the Pfizer vaccine has been officially authorized by the FDA, North Dakota health authorities expect an increase in immunization appointments.
Officials with the State Health Department are worried about a rise of COVID-19 hospitalizations among youngsters, as well as re-infections. Governor Doug Burgum supported the vaccination in a statement released Wednesday, claiming that it is the key to reduce hospitalizations.
According to the Department of Health, the number of walk-in immunization and booster shot locations would be increased.
