Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help in Locating Person of Interest in Malicious Wounding Case

Richmond, VA – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest in connection with a malicious wounding incident that occurred on Sunday evening, December 29. Deputies were called to the 8100 block of Kiwi Lane in Mechanicsville at approximately 5:42 p.m. following reports of a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a 61-year-old woman who had sustained significant injuries. Authorities did not provide further details regarding the nature of her injuries, but they were described as serious. Investigators are currently gathering evidence from the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The sheriff’s office has identified 61-year-old Keith Lamont Hubbard as a person of interest in the case, based on evidence found at the scene. Authorities believe that Hubbard is driving a dark grey 2016 Nissan Rogue, with the license plate number UDD-3073.

The sheriff’s office is urging anyone who may have seen Hubbard or his vehicle to come forward. However, they caution the public not to approach Hubbard if he is located. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at 804-365-6140.

As of now, investigators continue to work at the scene and are collecting additional evidence through the night. The sheriff’s office has not disclosed whether any arrests have been made in connection with the ongoing investigation.
