HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — Authorities are searching for a suspect after a 35-year-old man was shot multiple times in Hanover County early Thursday morning.
Just after 6 a.m. on January 16, deputies with the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting in the 10300 block of Colonial Estates Circle, located in the Glen Allen area. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim, a 35-year-old man, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies immediately administered medical care to the victim until Hanover County Fire and EMS arrived on the scene. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that his injuries were not life-threatening.
The suspect, described as a Black male wearing all-black clothing and a mask, fled the scene before deputies arrived. A search of the area was conducted, but the suspect has not yet been located.
