Goshen Road between Sacred Mountain Street and Marrwood Drive will have one lane of alternating traffic via flagging on weekdays beginning Monday, March 11 for road work, state officials say

Richmond, Va – According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, flagging along the approximately one-mile segment of Goshen Road will occur over the next several weeks Mondays through Fridays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.

The work is occurring under VDOT’s Rural Rustic Road Program, which aims to preserve the traditional feel of a rural road while making surface and other enhancements within the current right of way.

The work is scheduled for completion in mid-April.

Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling in active work zones.
