Fargo, North Dakota – The Morning Show had a visit from a few familiar faces to begin our coverage of the Merry Morning holiday season.
To offer us an early peek of their forthcoming Christmas concert, “Christmas Soup,” the Fargo-Moorhead Gay Men’s Chorus dropped by the studio.
Numerous changes have occurred within the group following the outbreak.
As with most singing ensembles, they had to pull back somewhat in the beginning.
Due to the risk of Covid, many singing groups reported a decrease in membership as well as fewer rehearsals and concerts.
But now they’re back and prepared to appear in the “Christmas Soup” play on December 10 at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Fargo.
There are both hilarious tunes and more conventional Christmas carols in this varied collection.
Additionally, the Gay Men’s Chorus will include drag artists for the first time.
As the choral singers prepared to perform the song “Merry Everything” for the Morning Event, chorus director Angel Lira sat down for a live interview with Emily Welker to talk about the show and why Lira claims the horrible massacre at the Colorado Springs Club Q is on everyone’s mind.
