Fire Destroys Home in Prince George County, Displaces Three Adults and Two Dogs

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — A devastating fire left three adults and their two dogs without a home on Thursday afternoon in Prince George County. The fire, which broke out just before 2 p.m., severely damaged a residence located in the 17000 block of Templeton Road.

Firefighters with Prince George County Fire and EMS were quickly dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a structure fire. Upon arrival, crews found the home fully engulfed in flames, prompting an immediate response to control the blaze. Firefighters battled the intense flames for nearly two hours, finally declaring the scene under control at 3:56 p.m.

While the fire caused extensive damage to the home, fortunately, no one was injured. The three residents, along with their two dogs, were safely evacuated. However, the fire left the family displaced, and they will be facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives in the wake of the destruction.
