Elison hosts guests for Halloween

Minot, North Dakota – This afternoon, residents of Elison’s Assisted Living in Minot showered adults and children with treats.

Families of residents and employees are now expected to trick or treat each year.

Events such as these make people grin, according to Denae Horning, one of the trained medicine assistants, who dressed like a whoopee cushion.

“Just spending time with them and being there for them when they are unable to go outside, particularly given the current weather conditions. In order for them to enjoy it as much as I do, I strive to make it as enjoyable as I can,” Horning added.

Elison hosted it in their community room, which is a more kid-friendly setting.
