Richmond, VA – According to the statement, VDOT crews will reportedly cut down a crest in the road to improve sight distance for vehicles entering Brock Road from Piney Branch Road and Cherokee Lane.
Two drainage pipes will also be replaced underneath Brock Road between Cherokee Lane and Gordon Road.
These maintenance activities have been scheduled to occur before the shoulders of Brock Road are slightly widened between Catharpin Road and Gordon Road later this year, followed by paving.
To complete this work, Brock Road will close for approximately two weeks starting March 11 through March 25 between Piney Branch Road and Cherokee Lane.
The road will close at 7 a.m. on March 11 and reopen by 4 p.m. on March 25, weather permitting.
Brock Road will be closed to through traffic between Piney Branch Road and Cherokee Lane.
