Contractor crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation are scheduled to close a portion of Fremac Drive, between Laskin Road and Reynard Drive, for several weeks to perform storm water and sewer drain improvements as part of the Laskin Road Bridge Replacement and Widening Project

Richmond, VA – According to the state officials, starting today, contractor crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation are scheduled to close a portion of Fremac Drive, between Laskin Road and Reynard Drive, for several weeks to perform storm water and sewer drain improvements as part of the Laskin Road Bridge Replacement and Widening Project.

The closure, located to the south of Laskin Road, will restrict turns onto this portion of Fremac Drive from Laskin Road.

To access Fremac Drive or Reynard Drive while the work is underway, a signed detour will direct motorists to utilize Winwood Drive.

This construction work is weather- and schedule-dependent; therefore, this schedule is subject to change.
