PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. – Firefighters with Prince George Fire and EMS responded to a brush fire that spread to a commercial building Sunday afternoon. The fire occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on February 23 in the 5500 block of Prince George Drive.
Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a blaze on the exterior of a commercial building. As they entered the structure, they encountered smoke and flames within the walls. Firefighters quickly worked to contain the fire, removing the building’s exterior paneling to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire officials commended the swift response and efforts of the crews to prevent further damage.
