Around 14,000 Fargo homes facing a rise in property taxes.

Fargo, North Dakota – Property taxes in Fargo are expected to rise for approximately 14 thousand homes.

The rise is a result of an increase in property values as a result of the city’s yearly reassessment process, according to the city. According to the city assessor, property values are usually reassessed every five years.

A mill levy, which will be determined in September, will also have an impact on the exact amount of tax raised.
