Arbor Day celebration to take place today at West Fargo City Hall

West Fargo, North Dakota – An Arbor Day celebration to honor Bob Potter will be held at 1 p.m. today at West Fargo City Hall. The City of West Fargo and a Tree City USA community will host the event.

West Fargo Urban Forestry Committee will cover the celebration which will include a mayoral proclamation, Tree City USA recognition and a tree planting ceremony. Free drinks will be available at the event.

Bob Potter, a long-time West Fargo Park District employee, will be honored during this year’s tree-planting event for his contribution to community outdoor recreation. His tree has been planted at the community orchard on Francis Street.
