AMBER Alert Issued After Three Children Kidnapped at Fishersville Bus Stop

River City, VA – Virginia State Police (VSP) issued an AMBER Alert on Thursday morning following the kidnapping of three children at a bus stop in Fishersville. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 8:27 a.m. after receiving reports that a black four-door vehicle had abducted the children near the Bobby’s Way Apartment Complex.

According to authorities, the three children – 10-year-old Jai’Marcus Lewis, 8-year-old Ja’Miyah Lewis, and 6-year-old Ja’Liyah Lewis – were waiting for their school bus when the suspect, driving a black sedan, pulled up and took them. The children’s identities have been confirmed, and their photos have been released to aid in the search.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident and working closely with state and local authorities to locate the suspect and return the children safely. As of now, a potential suspect has been identified, but no further details have been disclosed. Authorities have urged anyone with information related to the case to contact the Virginia State Police or the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
