A refuge for unwanted electronics

Minot, North Dakota – Although there isn’t a formal procedure for recycling electronics in Ward County, some tech companies will handle it for you.

According to AJ Espinosa, the experience manager at Best Buy in Minot, the retailer sends a range of gadgets to recycling facilities for refurbishment.

He claimed that while computers, tablets, and phones are free, recycling of televisions costs between $35 to $40.

“They would dispose of the parts and recycle to build other products, so that’s what most companies are doing,” said Espinosa.

According to him, a consumer can recycle a maximum of three electronics per store.
