Fargo, North Dakota – On Friday night, two separate crashes involving many automobiles were reported to the Fargo North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) Troopers.
Three vehicles—a lorry, a pickup, and an SUV—were involved in the first collision on Interstate 29’s southbound lanes at roughly 5:45 p.m., according to an NDHP news release.
Traffic was more backed up than usual as a result of the collision, and all three cars ended up in the median.
The sequence of events is still being looked at, and the NDHP is still looking into the crash.
There were reported minor injuries, and one individual was taken to the hospital.
Around 6:50 p.m., shortly after that collision, there was backup in the southbound lanes of traffic due to an accident involving a pickup towing a camper and a semi-truck with a flatbed.
The NDHP is still looking into the second collision.
In the second collision, both vehicles sustained damage but no casualties were reported.
Traffic was delayed for about two hours, and there are still lane restrictions in some areas as the vehicles are being removed.
Drivers are advised to move over and slow down when they see emergency vehicles.
