458 new COVID cases reported in North Dakota

Bismarck, North Dakota – According to the most recent weekly data from the North Dakota Department of Health provided on Friday, the number of new COVID-19 cases in North Dakota has fallen from the previous week.

There were 458 new cases for the week of January 13–19, 2023, which is a decrease of 175 instances from the previous week.

In North Dakota, there have been a total of 282,170 COVID-19 cases reported since the health agency started keeping track of the figures in March 2020.

According to the most recent health department data published online as of November 30, 2022, a total of 290 persons have passed away where COVID is recorded as the primary cause of death.

The week of January 14–20, 2022, saw the highest COVID case count ever with 15,851 cases being reported.

52 patients were admitted to North Dakota hospitals this week related to the COVID-19 case, which is the same as last week.

There was no change from the previous week in the overall number of Intensive Care Unit beds occupied by COVID patients during the week.

40 inpatient beds were filled by COVID patients throughout the week, which is 9 fewer than the week before.
