Bismarck, North Dakota – According to the most recent weekly data from the North Dakota Department of Health provided on Friday, the number of new COVID-19 cases in North Dakota has decreased from the previous week.
There were 1,057 new cases for the week of December 2–8, 2022, which is a decrease of 45 instances from the previous week.
In North Dakota, there have been a total of 278,399 COVID-19 cases reported since the health agency started keeping track of the statistics in March 2020.
According to the most recent health department data published online, a total of 253 persons had passed away with COVID designated as the primary cause of death since the year 2022 began and until August 31.
The week of January 14–20 saw the highest COVID figures yet, with 15,853 cases being reported.
Hospital admissions related to the COVID-19 case in North Dakota were 61 during the week, 20 less than the week before.
During the past week, COVID patients occupied a total of 4, which is a decrease of 2 from the week before.
